Welcome, my name is Kirsten Oates, and I offer an innovative leadership coaching model called Contemplative Leadership Coaching. This approach is designed for those who seek to align their spiritual values with their professional life. Drawing on my extensive business experience, my work at the Center for Action and Contemplation, and my training as a Spiritual Director, I have seamlessly blended ancient spiritual wisdom with modern leadership practices. Through this approach, I help clients establish themselves in a new kind of leadership grounded in what is ultimately real, enabling them to navigate complex challenges with greater clarity, purpose, and meaning.
I believe that we are born to reflect the Sacred in the world; our truest essence lies in manifesting the Sacred within us. This is what gives our lives meaning and connects us most authentically. While this knowledge once thrived at the heart of ancient societies, in our modern age, we've lost touch with this grounding and, consequently, with the true nature of reality. The highest goal of any religious tradition is the discovery of the Sacred, and we can return to ancient traditions to guide us back to this grounding.
By merging the analytical rigor of my business background with the contemplative practices and wisdom of my spiritual training, I offer a holistic and insightful approach as a Contemplative Leadership Coach. This integrated perspective allows me to contribute in a unique way, helping leaders ground their leadership in a sense of meaning and purpose.
In my experience supporting leaders across various industries and being in leadership positions myself, I have observed that spiritual grounding and wisdom can support leaders in six significant ways. I offer tools in these areas to help leaders:
